HP-GL Problem [message #1748] Fri, 18 February 1994 07:19

I have never been able to get the HP-GL driver for IDL to work with our
system. We have an HP9000/700 running IDL 3.0.0 generating the HP-GL
commands. We are trying to plot with an HP7550A plotter connected to
an HP9000/300 via HP-IB. I have tried both xon_xoff settings. The
plotter display keeps saying: '1: command not recognized'. The plot comes
out, but several pen commands are dropped throughout the printout. The
plotter works fine with several other software packages. Has anyone else
seen this?

Thanks,
