Dear readers,

A colleague of mine wishes to use IDL to generate fractal Brownian
noise in 2 or more Euclidean dimensions with optional Hausdorf
dimension and lacunarity control. (go figure! -- he promises it'll
make pretty pictures ;-)

If anyone knows what he's talking about, drop me a line!

(I've looked through some better-known libraries and haven't found
anything)

Thanks in advance,
-Dick
