too many TLB resize events [message #18029]

I was wondering if there is a way to make a TLB only return a single
resize event when it is resized. After releasing the mouse button when I
resize the top base that contains my draw window, I get dozens of
events corresponding
to each intermediate size of the base as it is being dragged to its new
size. When the objects in the view are complex, resizing the window can
cause a noticeable delay.

Does anyone know how to avoid this? I'm using NT 4.0 -maybe this has
something to do with the problem?
