Free form read from file problem [message #1830] Fri, 04 March 1994 16:25

I'm trying to read from a file free-form. I've defined
the structure I want to read, but when I try to read from
the file I get:

% Input line is too long for input buffer of 2048 characters.
% READF: Error encountered reading from file. Unit: 100

The code fragment is:

OPENR, unit, filename, /GET_LUN
READF, unit, structure_variable

Is there a way to change the buffer size? Or is there
another way to do free form reads from files? Also, I'm
trying this in the 'demo' mode, if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Mark Cook
