Funny, I was just tinkering around with this today.


If the feature your looking for is a single-valued blob (or as David Fanning calls it a
single-colored blob) then you might consider the convolution technique described by
Richard Adams. Follow the PERIMETER OF A BLOB thread in an earlier posting.
