contour plots -> array? [message #18761] Thu, 27 January 2000 00:00

I would like to obtain the results of a contour plot (obtained using the CONTOUR
procedure) in the form of a 2D array. I could plot the contours to a blank window and
then use TVRD to read an array from the display, but i was wondering if there is any
more convenient method of achieving the same result. Perhaps using the PATH keywords
to CONTOUR and using the contour path information to plot directly on an array?

Any help is appreciated!
