Ain't IDL grand! :-)

And just think. Even those of us who have been around
the block a time or two only really understand about
half of it. But knowing about virtual functions (and
passing the information on to at least five aspiring
IDL users) will almost certainly get you an invitation
to the next IDL Expert Programmers Association meeting. :-)

Cheers,

David

Great !

David, your solution is as excellent as usual ! Seems I just
missed a complete functionality of IDL ... I also found the
other related functions Call_Function and Call_Method, the
latter especially useful for me since the real problem behind
my question is embedded in a rather complex object oriented
code where these calls are handed over through several levels
of class hierarchies . Thanks a lot, also to Pavel !!

Bastards. We'll go digital and FireWire next time around.

Oh. He said he was a headhunter and had a contract I couldn't refuse so
I passed him a URL to my resume.

I'll say it for you, Groan.

Yeah, I'm sorry I was late for the "event." Which is unfortunate
since the meeting won't cycle back to my part of the country for
another year and a half.

Uh, no ... no, Mike, we weren't able to get the
release. In fact, I think the film got damaged at
the processors. At least that's what I was told.

Cheers,

David

P.S. Do you know anyone named Guido Soprano? He
said he was an agent who worked that Pam and Tommy
Lee deal. Anyway, I gave him your cell phone number. :-)

Speaking of the IDL Expert Programmers Association, when are you going
to post the pictures from the last meeting? Were you able to get the
release signed by the "entertainment", or will you have to leave those
out?
