-------------------------------------------
We are pleased to announce a poster session at VDE2000. This workshop
will be at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (Princeton, NJ) on
Thursday April 27 and Friday April 28. Co-organizers are Scott Klasky
(sklasky@pppl.gov) and Steve Thorpe (thorpe@ncsc.org).
Please join us for this event which will bring together researchers
from visualization with users who are interested in learning about
visualization toolkit packages. We have vendors from AVS/Express,
OpenDX (IBM Data Explorer), the Visualization Toolkit (VTK), IRIS
Explorer, IDL, PvWave, Matlab, TGS 3D MasterSuite, SciRun, and PV3
presenting talks about their packages. We also will have users of these
packages present talks based on their experience/use of using/extending
the packages.
Anyone who uses visualization in their research is encouraged to submit
a 1 page/paragraph abstract for a poster submission. Abstracts will be
due March 24, 1999.
Please see http://w3.pppl.gov/vde2000/ for further information
about this workshop.
