Hello,
I was wondering if there any IDL/Wave routines that can find the characteristic scales of an image. For example, implementations of 2-D wavelet decomposition or other multiresolution techniques. I'm working on images of the solar disk which are convolved with a known PSF (e.g gaussian) and I'd like to see how different algorithms can provide information on the structures that are
present on those images.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
