I have IDL on a Mac quadra 700 and it works quite well.

The problem appears when I run IDL remotely from another
quadra 700. the following command produces an IDL chrash:
file=pickfile()

Do I have to set some parameter, the rest of the IDL program
and the xdemo runs ok in remote mode.
