Research Systems is pleased to announce the availability of IDL 5.3.1 for
Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000. IDL 5.3.1 is a Windows only release to
address an issue in the performance of IDL 5.3. This release also corrects a
problem where certain IDL Project files could not be opened. There are no
other changes from IDL 5.3.

All Research Systems customers who received IDL 5.3 for Windows will receive
an IDL 5.3.1 CD-ROM within the next couple of weeks.

Alternatively, the IDL 5.3.1 update and installation instructions are
available on the Download Software area of the Research Systems Web site.
Users with an existing IDL 5.3 installation should choose the service pack
available from this Web page. Windows users who do not have an IDL 5.3
installation may download a complete IDL 5.3.1 distribution from the same
area.

Wonderful!

I hope it includes the Digital Alpha version as well...
(5.3 was planned to be the last Windows NT version for Digital CPU's)
