I don't know. I have mixed feelings. I wish VNI and RSI would get more active,
but there's a fine line between responding honestly to queries, and advertising.

There would be a strong temptation (especailly since the group is shared) to
promote their products and bash the other guy's.

I wouldn't mind seeing informative posts, like version/upgrade/new product
announcements - if it were done in a low-key, tasteful manner.

Also, there are occasionally questions here that really beg for a vendor response.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have gotten very good response and
service from VNI's support team (support@boulder.vni.com). I'm sure RSI is as
good. So I look to them for my technical/product questions, bug reports, etc., and
look to this group for discussion about usage, tips, techniques, etc.

I wonder if there's enough volume to support this, especially for WAVE.

I'd rather people just be a bit more explicit about which product they're using
(when it matters), and leave things like this.
