We've been using Xinteranimate to display results from some numerical
simulations with no problems. However, the frames are not equally
spaced in time so what we'd like is a timebar next to the plot, sort of
like a straight hourglass. Then, the timescales for the various
processes occuring would be clear.

Does anyone have some code available to do something like this?
