RSI has WWW page on IDL in general:
http://sslab.colorado.edu:2222/projects/IDL/idl_ssl_home.htm l

Hal Mueller at Texas A&M put together a Digital U.S. Map browser
based on images I created using IDL:
http://ageninfo.tamu.edu/apl-us/

E. Loren Buhle, Jr. Ph.D. made a page on AVS IN MEDICAL TREATMENT PLANNING
which also discusses IDL:
http://archive.xrt.upenn.edu/0h/buhle/manuscripts/avs94_pape r.html

It might be worth keeping some of the best such pages in the FAQ.
