Hello,

Has anyone implemented a hammer-aitoff map projection
in PV-Wave. I'm looking for something similar to the
MAP_SET and MAP_IMAGE combination in IDL.

Basically, I want to take an array whose data coordinates
are in lat,lon and display it using a hammer-aitoff equal
area projection. I thought about hacking the IDL MAP_IMAGE
routine but pv-wave lacks a GOOD bilinear interpolator (one
that lets you specify missing values, etc) among other things.

Any advice (or code!!!) would be apreciated.

Todd
