I Hope I'm Missing It [message #20356]

I've been searching through the IDL documentation trying to find out how
to copy a selected region to the system clipboard. I can find out how to
do using object graphics but am unable to find out how to do it using
direct graphics. I know that if you press Ctrl-C (in windows) that you
can send the current window to the clipboard but I am looking to be able
to copy only a selected region. I hope I am just missing it! Thanks for
any help.
