Help!
I am having problems with RPC calls under Wave 4.2 on HP-UX 9.03 on a HP715/50.
I can use waveinit() and wavecmd() quite happily but waveterm() always hangs.
We use gtgrid here and it has been suggested that it isn't helping matters(?).
Another slight problem is wave_variable_get. Firstly it doesn't seem to be in
the manuals anymore and secondly it only works sometimes. I can use it to
return a long* to my C++ program but not a double*, I get type conversion
errors from ez_client.
I've tried using ez_client specifically with the get option but all I get
is a bus error in make_single array.
I have used RPC's with Wave in the past but I've always thought it was a bit
of a confused design, the manuals don't really help as they don't contain
references for much of the RPC low level stuff. VNI only get 6/10 for this
I'm afraid :-(
