Hi,

Has any body out there tried to link Oracle Pro*FORTRAN images with IDL
in a VMS environment?
I want to write a Pro*FORTRAN routine that extracts data from the Oracle

Database under the
Control of IDL. I can do it by extracting data to ASCII files but I am
looking for something better.
If I can work out how to create shareable images from the Oracle Link
procedures, I should be
able to hook back to IDL with CALL_EXTERNAL.

Thanks
George
