I am using contours and have a problem with label positions. If I set the
label size to something <1.0 the labels seem to move away from the gap
created for them in the contour line they are meant to annotate.

Anybody know if I can specify an HPGL style LORG setting or some kind
of offset parameter?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. A thousand blessings on anyone who can direct me to the
source code in C/C++ for a PostScript previewer under X11 (or similar).
