where is the faq for this newsgroup?
I tried ftp to ersg.ucsb.edu, but got "unknown host".
Then I went to ucsb.edu, and in pub/graphics found idl.tar.Z
which is apparently a release of idl (!!??)

Actually, what I really want to know is if there are workarounds to
the bugs in contour, /fill routine, where the area is not filled. These
seem to be most apparent when there are missing data values, and when
map_set is used. Thanks in advance...
