Hello,
I the following question:
it seems like INTERPOLATE routine does not really work well.
Here is why:
If you have a 5x1 array and you store 1 into first, 3 in third ,4 in fourth and 5 in fifth and then try :
print, INTERPOLATE(array, [2],[0]) it will return 0 and not 2.
It does not automatically replace the [2],[0] coordinate but looks if there is a value there and if there is - just prints out the result

Is there a way to make it print 2?
And in general, how can one interpolate at one coordinate, using the rest of the array?
I greatly appreciate your help.
