I must say that this is the first time in 5 years of reading
this newsgroup that I am truly glad fate handed me PV-Wave in
grad school rather than IDL. I regularly have this feeling when
thinking about Matlab ;-)

But I hope everything works out because I don't think the 3 or 4
of us using PV-Wave could really justify having our own newsgroup.
And I am not sure that IDL users who employ objects and widgets
would be willing to make the switch over . . .
