Surface,/horizontal problem [message #2215] Tue, 21 June 1994 15:03

I'm trying to use the surface routine to plot a series of power
spectra and am having trouble with the HORIZONTAL keyword.
The reference manual states (PV-WAVE Advantage V4.2):

If set, causes SURFACE to only draw lines across the plot perpendicular
to the line of sight...

This is close to what I want, but not what it seems to be doing.
Apparently the decision as to which lines are "more" perpendicular is
not just based on the z axis rotation but also on other factors that
I don't fully understand. What I really want is to be able to just set
which direction (x or y) I want plotted.

I believe I can generate the plot I want by using T3D and the Zvalue
keyword with OPLOT, but it would be a lot easier if I could just tell
SURFACE which way to draw the lines, or at least be able to guarantee
which way it would come out.

Any Ideas?
