Having read the FAQ and the define_key section of the Wave manual (V 4.20):
1) Is there any way in pv-wave to increase the number of commands in
the command history? I tried changing !edit_input to 50 in my
startup file as suggested for IDL, but that didn't seem to work.
2) Using define_key I can succesfully map escape sequences to
functions or other strings. I have had no luck mapping control
characters or meta-characters (even though they both get read
by wave into the line buffer). The documentation is a bit
vague on whether or not I can do this, so I'm still not sure
that I can't.
Any wizards out there who can striaghten me out?
Thanks.
