I have been working with an older version of IDL (3.4.1) since approx 1991.
I have been using simple programming techniques to get things done.

Now I want to learn to work with widgets and object oriented programming
using the +5 IDL version.

I'm planning to buy D. Fannings' book. Could anyone give me some advise for
maybe good online documentation / manuals on this subject?
