Goodness, I'm happy to see someone agrees with me! I've
been concerned with label spacing with respect to
axes for a long time, primarily when using true-type fonts
with object graphics. But I think I've gained a reputation
among some of the folks I've complained to as a bit of
a...well, prig. Apparently real scientists don't give two
figs for these kind of issues. :-(
