That would be me. I gave up on 7.0 and reverted to 6.1 (with all the
security patches, of course...). I tried adding compatibility
libraries, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. I am wondering now
if my problem may have actually been some SCSI flakiness that I
discovered shortly thereafter, but I don't have enough motivation to
check.

I really hope Mac OS X gives us Mac ease-of-use combined with unix
stability....
