Has anyone out there already rewritten the IDL MAP_SET routines for
astronomical purposes, (i.e., east is to the left)? Perhaps all
I need is a complete description of the !MAP system variable.

By the way, IDL 2.2.2 is now available at your favorite FTP/SPAN sites.
