I am going to be getting some Landsat images, which we want to incorporate
into an image analysis program that reads a number of image file formats,
none of which, as far as I can tell, are Landsat.
I have a very long document that purports to define the image format, which
is called "Computer Compatible Tape (CCT) format for raw, bulk-corrected,
system-corrected and precision processed Landsat Thematic Mapper (TM) imagery
data acquired from the Landsat 4, Landsat 5, and subsequent satellites."
before I venture further into this document, did someone already write a
program that reads this data into a format like gif, tiff, fits, ppm, or
other common image format? If so, I would welcome your advice and even more,
the program
