Has anyone gotten idl-shell.el (version 1.10) to run under Emacs
19.25? Emacs complains, "Symbol's function definition is void:
full-copy-sparse-keymap". After a grep of my Emacs Lisp directory,
sure enough, it had been removed from comint.el. I haven't had much
luck in hacking it to work. Thanks.

Alan

Unfortunately we do not have Emacs 19.25 which comes with a new
version of comint.el on which idl-shell.el is built. To make
idl-shell.el work replace the occurrence of 'full-copy-sparse-keymap'
with 'copy-keymap'. I will be sending the corrected version to the
anonymous FTP site eos.crseo.ucsb.edu (if it still allows me to write
there since the change).

I will also be keeping copies (as of about 3pm EST) of idl.el and
idl-shell.el at the anonymous FTP site:

JHU/APL IDL library
fermi.jhuapl.edu [128.244.147.18]
/pub/idl

I appreciate any bug reports/comments/suggestions people can send me.

Later,
Chris
