Has anyone encountered memory problems with IDL version 2 on a VAX? I've heard
from a colleague that a program that used to run in 12000 blocks in IDL V1
required a pagefile quota of 60000 blocks to run in IDL V2! Since I do most of
my processing on a Sun workstation nowadays, I have not run into this myself.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but apparently the program
under question did a lot of reading in arrays which are then concatenated into
larger arrays.
