Please excuse a novice to the newsgroup...
I've gotten tired of writing visualization code (and analysis code for that
matter) and have just started looking at commercial packages.
I've used IDL many,many years ago, so i'm familiar with what it used to
be able to do. I've seen demos and tried very briefly to use PV-Wave (a
few years ago).
I'm also done a little of looking at a package called AVS (which is a
slightly different kind of animal). I have used Maple and Mathematica.
Surely here must be a reason you folks have picked PV-Wave (or IDL) over
some of these other packages.
Feedback and comments on your experiences would be greatly appreciated!
