I read with interest a posting 2 days ago about the
color_quan function in IDL. I tried it on a friend's
system (a SPARC 2), and it worked well. I'm sorry I
can't help with the VMS problem, but does anyone
know if there is an equivalent function in PV-WAVE
(i.e. a function that creates psuedo color tables
for an 8 bit display based on red, green and blue
images)?
