Enabling events on label widgets [message #2481]

How do I get events on WIDGET_LABEL widgets to come in, specifically
if the user clicks on the widget with the mouse? I have used the
keywords EVENT_PRO and EVENT_FUNC as described on p 1-346 of the
version 3.5 reference manual, but the event procedure is never
called. (no problems with just about every other kind of widget
events).
