I noticed some people were talking about ther TIMER feature,; however, my
manual does not say anything about the timer: do I have a wrong version?
I get the following error:
IDL> widget_control, a,/REAL,TIMER=1
% Keyword TIMER not allowed in call to: WIDGET_CONTROL
% Execution halted at $MAIN$ (WIDGET_CONTROL).
IDL>

STRANGE. or is it?
