i am not sure exactly what you want to do but the only network functionality
I am aware of in IDL is the SOCKET procedure found in idl 5.4 (I don't think
it is in earlier releases). Whatever you are trying to do would have to be
done using that or by using some external library.

Hi,
i want to communicate a Server Process with a Slave
Process. I think that Socket only works in UNIX and if PVM
works it's my solution.
