Hello, IDL users -

Would somone be so kind as to send me a simple example of calling a
FORTRAN procedure from IDL under Ultrix? I used CALL_EXTERNAL for this under
VMS, but that's not available in Ultrix. I need to pass variables both ways.
I've tried to use SPAWN to produce a child process, but don't have it quite
right yet.

I would really appreciate a nudge in the right direction...
