Vector overlay routines for IDL [message #2590]

I would like to be able to overlay vector information (e.g. maps) onto images
in IDL. I know I can do some things with MAP_SET, but I'd like to be able to
overlay higher-resolution coastline databases (e.g. CIA's World Databank2) as
well as overlay other vector information.

Does anyone have routines that do things similar to this?
