Today is 10-02-2001 or 10022001, a Palindrome day. It's not an
interminable wait until the next one, but it has been a long time
since the previous one - anyone care to come up with some interesting
historical events that took place on the previous Palindrome day? or a
list of the 5 most recent and next 5 such days?
It's easy to do by hand, but it would also be fun to write an IDL
program to list them all, for those looking for something
other than world crises to occupy their attention for a few minutes.
In other words, when is MMDDYYYY the same backwards and forwards?
For extra credit, add hours, minutes and seconds to the pot:
when is MMDDYYYYHHMMSS the same backwards and forwards?
or, if you want European syntax, when is
DDMMYYYY a palindrome?
