Hi folks,

Thanks to Mike Schienle, I worked out how to display an image (with lat/lon
coordinates defined for each pixel) on a map base, using

triangulate
trigrid
map_image

However triangulate seems to be taking up a lot of memory and consequently
crashing IDL when I use medium/large remote sensing images (> 200000
pixels). My SGI has 96 MB of physical RAM.

Has anyone come up with a more space/time efficient way of resampling
images to a regular lat/lon grid? I didn't see another IDL built-in
routine or userlib routine that would handle this problem.
