An open request to RSI and Visual Numerics:
I have found that IDL/PV-Wave programming is a very specific skill
set and, as such, it is rather difficult to find consulting
assignments and/or permanent positions requiring it.
Would you consider becoming a resource for those of us versed in
your products who are looking to for career opportunities?
Perhaps one way to go about it is to inform the present install base
that there are professionals out there who already know the product and
who know how to take advantage of its hardware independence. I'm sure
that there are other ways to go about this, and I would be very
interested to see a thread develop to see what your company and what
the readers of this newsgroup have to say...
