Goddard Space Flight Center (web site: http://www.gsfc.nasa.gov.), a
large NASA research center in Greenbelt, Maryland, a suburb on the east
side of Washington D.C. I don't know about IDL 5.5 (my group has received
the CDs, but we haven't installed it yet), but earlier versions of IDL
have mixed very well with GSFC. I'm afraid it'll be kind of big to
install on a single PC, though.
(Sorry, I couldn't let this one go by. :-) Actually, I have no idea
what msg124 is talking about... possibly the IDLASTRO library?)

Every time I see something like this I'm transported
back to 1961. I'm sitting in a barber chair getting
my hair cut when the barber says to the customer sitting
next to me, "I see that piecost out to the zoo escaped
yesterday."
"Yeah", the customer says. "That's too bad."
"What's a 'piecost'?, I ask.
"About a buck-fifty," the barber says to me while
the two old men yuck it up. I think they had been
sitting there reading Playboy magazines all afternoon
waiting for me to show up. :-)
Cheers,
David
