Hi,
when trying to add records to a table with the Dataminer
IDLdbRecordset->AddRecord method strings are not or not fully (only the
left few signs) added to the table. The SQL-Insert-Into Command works,
so this is the lesser part of the problem.
The same error occurs with the IDLdbRecordset->SetField procedure, which
also fails to set a the values of strings into the respective fields of
the current record in the above cases. This is a bit more tricky since
it is not that easy to circumvent with a single SQL-command if two
identical datasets are in the respective table.
The described errors seem to occur predominantly when the table had been
empty when the IDLdbRecordset had
been created. I use Windows 2000 SP 2 and MySQL 3.23.39 with MyODBC
2.50.39 (plus cursor library update)
Does anybody here experience the same problems or even has a solutions
to them?
Thanks
