Hi,

I want to use IDL to process (filter) sound file (wav-files) and need some
algorithms for band pass filtering, preferably without using FFT. I know
that I can achieve a low pass filter by applying a moving average to the
samples. How do I control the bandwidth and Q of the filter. How do I
translate the algorithm to bandpass filtering.

Any hook is welcome!
