Hello,

I am looking to use the SlickEdit editor to write IDL programs.

Question 1)
It can parse and tag IDL functions and procedures that are not members
of an
object base on it knowledge of the PV-WAVE language. Is there a way
for it to also recognize functions and procedures that are members of
an object?

Question 2)
It can launch commands to compile programs (ex: cc myprogram) and
capture the output of a command window. Can I compile my IDL programs
from command line and get the output of the compilation somewhere else
than the output log window of IDL?

Thank you,

Bruno Martin
