Don't worry about it. It is because you are using the far superior 5.5
now, and all that old worthless 5.0 code is so far behind that its
really hard (and unnecessary) to remember how it could possibly work :)

The problem comes when I can't figure out my own code.

Something very much like this, and in the same spirit,
used to be on the first page of the IDL manual, years
and years ago. I was appalled when I read it and it was
the first sentence I deleted when I started work on the
IDL documentation.

In retrospect, I would have saved myself a LOT of
work if I had left it in. :-)

I just found the following on the site where a HASP emulator driver
software is posted for a download:

"I'd rather spend my time on the fun stuff, so am not going to write a
manual how to use this driver. A knowledgeable person will easily figure
it out, and those dumb ones don't need it anyway".

for my web page today: How to Use a Computer To
Find Information. You would think anyone who could
find a newsgroup could find a search engine. Sheesh.
