Does anyone out there know of any IDL-based procedures for reading XML data
files? IDL string handling facilities are not bad, but they aren't great
either, certainly nothing along the lines of Perl. Or failing that, are
there extensions for IDL written in C or Fortran that can be called easily
from IDL?
