Hi,
One of the "new" routines advertised for IDL 5.5 (in "What's new in
IDL 5.5") is called ERF which appears to be the same as ERRORF. Umm,
anyone out there know if there are any differences (other than name)
between these two seemingly identical functions in IDL?
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,
There is no difference between ERF and ERRORF other than the name. When the
new ERFC and ERFCX were added to IDL5.5, the name for ERRORF was changed to
be consistent.
