Is there a way to find out the host I'm on? Even better, can I found
out what the sharename is given a pathname? I'm using IDL on a PC that
is on a network, but I don't have ION. What I have is a pathname such
as 'C:\dir\file', which I would like to change to
'\\hostname\sharename\dir\file'.

Thanks.
