I am new to IDL programming and also trying not to re-invent the
wheel. Has anyone done heat conduction heat transfer calculations
using IDL? If so, do you have codes that would be available for me to
use or to take and modify for my specific needs. I would be
interested in seeing a variety of such codes. Starting with time
dependent 1D such as T(t,x), and on to T(t,x,y). Also,
determination of T(t,x), when Thermal conductivity is temperature
dependent and incident heat flux is constant in time. And T(t,x) when
incident heat flux varies in time. (Perhaps a slab thickness of 2 or
4 cm).

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me. (This is my first
message posting. I apologize if this turns out to be spamming!)
